I applied for the interview after researching the company and seeing the opening on the careers page of their website.
Several days later, their head of HR contacted me for an online interview to book the available interview timeslots. Afterwards, I confirmed the interview time and date upon receiving the calendar invite and prepared for the interview.
However, on the day of the interview, the Head of HR, or anyone from the company that was supposed to interview me did not show up. I emailed the official contact after noticing they did not show up 10 minutes into the interview and even reached out with the number they provided.
After waiting for nearly an hour, I reached out again expressing disappointment that I was not notified if the were running over a previous meeting or if the interview was rescheduled on short notice.
Several hours later, I received messages from the head of HR saying he did not check his calendar for additional meetings after his previous meeting ran over. He also apologized for missing the meeting.
I responded to his message asking the head of HR for any available time to reschedule and sent an email as well. I also asked if they received my emails as I did not receive any replies from them about the interview issue and for a chance to reschedule the interview they missed.
A week later, I received a generic email saying they are not moving forward despite missing their own interview.
